Portland Metro Real Estate Market Update for April 2022

In April 2022, there were 3,684 new listings, which is a 9.5% decrease from the 4,065 listed in April 2021, and an increase of 4.6% from the 3,521 listed in March 2022.

3,005 pending sales last month show a 11.6% decrease from the 3,400 offers accepted in April 2021, and a decrease of 1.3% from the 3,045 offers accepted the previous month in March 2022.

Closed sale count of 2,782 this April was a decrease of 5.6% from the 2,946 closings last year in April 2021, and an increase of 3.7% from the 2,683 closings last month in March 2022.

Inventory increased to 0.8 months in April 2022. Total market time decreased to 21 days, with the average home sale price of $632,900, and a median home sale price of $560,000.
